Sewer and Water Main Installation and Repair

Sewer and Water Main Installation and Repair

Having a main water line or major sewer line issue can be frustrating.  We are here to guide you through the process and serve you to the best of our ability according to your specific situation.

Often water lines can be repaired with a boring technique which is minimally invasive.  A piercing tool using compressed air forces a small round tunnel through the necessary ground to make way for a new water line.  Typically this is done with little digging and no disruption to above ground landscaping.

When experiencing a failed pipe in the sewer system because of root intrusion, corrosion or breakage, we prefer a no dig, trenchless method as well.  Here at Covenant Plumbing we use something called CIPP.

What is CIPP?

CIPP stands for Cured-In-Place-Pipe. An tube liner is measured to the needed repair length, it is then impregnated with epoxy resin and inverted (or pulled) into the damaged pipe. This is usually inserted through a clean out access point. Once the liner is in, steam forms and cures the epoxy and the finished result is a new pipe within the old, broken or damaged pipe. The CIPP technology allows your repair to be done with little digging, a quicker repair turn around time, less cost due to the landscaping remaining intact, and a jointless new pipe repair which will last 50 plus years. These are the four steps to a sewer line repair using Cured-In-Place-Pipe:

  1. Inspect the line using a sewer camera and evaluate the issue
  2. Clean and clear the line
  3. Install the CIPP
  4. Final camera inspection

We are certified installers of CIPP and look forward to serving you and making your sewer or main water repair or installation as cost effective and stress free as possible.
